Hello, my name is Sylvia, founder of Sukhi Ayurveda.
I trained in Kerala, India, where I studied traditional Ayurvedic therapies and developed a deep appreciation for Ayurveda as a complete system of wellbeing. Since then, I have gained professional experience working in a respected Ayurvedic centre in Mallorca and supporting wellness retreats and yoga events.
My interest in Ayurveda began many years earlier. As a mother of three, I was always looking for natural ways to support my family’s health and wellbeing. This search eventually led me to Ayurveda, whose holistic approach resonated deeply with my values and inspired me to pursue formal training.
Today, I offer mobile Ayurvedic treatments across Mallorca, bringing authentic therapies directly to homes, villas, retreats, and holiday accommodations. My intention is to create a calm and nurturing experience where clients can slow down, unwind, and reconnect with themselves through traditional Ayurvedic care.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems, originating in India over 5,000 years ago. The word Ayurveda comes from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (knowledge), meaning “the knowledge of life.”
Ayurveda recognizes that true health is achieved when the body, mind, and spirit are in balance. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, it considers each person as a unique individual and aims to support their natural state of wellbeing.
